We just had 5  Lonesome Cry-Flying Pella pups born in TX. There are 3 males and 2 females. The Shuffields report that all pups are big and strong and healthy.
That's all ya can ask for at this point.
they are for sale and remember she is a litter sister to Flying Crestline who is not only WAY up the dam standings but also has a track record holder under her belt.
Lonesome crossed to this bloodline should produce some outstanding pups!!!!

Mesa Tempo caught a 2nd in a T660 race for owner Jim Jackson
Dp's Blue Moon, daughter of Mesa brood Silver Condor, won another Grade A at Flagler. Sure wish Condor would come in season
Mesa Dress Up moves up again as she wins her Grade D. Nice record for a young pup like this
Dress Up's littermate, Mesa Dresstokill, closed up to finish 2nd with a stretch burst. That was amazing considering his 1st turn collision
Winnie Bones, Seegold Big Red-Uss Mardigras, managed a 4th in Grade A at St Pete for Helen and Jim Hambleton

Keep your fingers crossed for Bruce De Gilio's two Mesa pups in nationals finals tomorrow. They are Mesa Dryden and Mesa Barrie. They are Lonesome Crys out of Prima Intrepid

Bruce De Gilio is having himself one heckuva Tuesday!!!
Not only did his Mesa Alberta run a beautiful race in maiden at PB today to finish second but his two pups at the nationals, littermates to Alberta,  also scored for him, one second and one third.
Some people go years without having a pup go into the finals of the NGA meet.
Bruce has both of his Mesa pups out of Lonesome Cry-Prima Intrepid running for the money in the finals.
The pups are trained and handled by Rod and Sue Boatright for their proud owner.

Mesa Fig Battle breaks maiden, brother gets 4th;other updates

Mesa Fig Battle, Flying Stanley-Greys Tocomastar, made it look easy as she broke her maiden yesterday at Wheeling Downs.
Battle, has finished 2nd in her first two maiden starts which has pleased me Greytly. I really don't like a dog to break maiden too quickly. They need time to learn to run in traffic, negotiate turns with 7 others and when to apply the brakes to avoid collisions.
Yesterday she took what she learned and won her race in an excellent time. She is for sale
Her brother Mesa Fig Henry is still trying to figure it out. He ran 4th today in his second maiden start. Henry is too aggressive for his own good. He either comes up with the lid or drives so hard Rodney says he literally falls right down on his nose. Sending home a check today is good practice for him
Mesa Billy, Dodgem-Mesa Cyndi, won Grade B by 6 lengths at NFM
Mesa Changes cashed the 3rd place check for owner John Reedy
Winnine Bones, a Mesa bred dog, continued her moneymaking way at Derby Lane as she nailed 3rd in a Grade A
Mesa Alberta, Lonesome-Prima Intrepid, owned by Bruce De Gilio came in 3rd in her maiden at Palm Beach. Two of her littermates will be running in the fall meet

Racing updates; dog retired; track changes

Mesa Dress Up, Oshkosh Slammer-Dress Up, stalked the leader in her J race and ran him down to claim victory. Dress Up is owned by Bruce De Gilio
Mesa Changes, SBF-Karmic Destiny, owned by John Reedy, caught a 3rd in Grade C
Mesa Harry, Trent Lee-Jr's Sable, owned by Jim Jackson, caught a 4th in Grade C. This one was at VL and was despite mucho trouble. That gives the lad a 10-1-2-12 record since arriving in Alabama

Mesa Alphabet, Oneco Spirit-Mesa Meadow (Greys Statesman-Mesa Marissa), has reinjured her ankle and will be moved to the Roban farm.
This gal comes from an EXTREMELY nice litter which includes a Wheeling AA, two OP A's and Mesa Budget.
If she hadn't had the ankle problem she would have been a top notch Grade A at any of the major Florida tracks.
I'll try to rehab her on the Roban farm but she is for sale currently at a brood price. Contact me if interested

Two of the Flying Stanleys will be moving from WD to Derby Lane.
The Ice man and Mesa Fig Delta will both move down south. They have plenty of speed but are more late than early and are better suited for St Pete, according to Rodney Cooley.
The pups will stay in the Charter organization

Mesa Fig Battle, Flying Stanley-Greys Tocomastar, ran another nice second in maiden at Wheeling on Fri night.
Her litter brother, Mesa Fig Eagle, went box-to-wire to break maiden by 2 1/2 in a good time at SOKC
Both pups are owned by myself and Dick Figs
Mesa Sable Astra, Trent Lee-Jr's Sable, ran 3rd at Wheeling
Mesa Dresstokill, Oshkosh Slammer-Dress Up, smoked his maiden field as he claimed victory by 6 lengths at Palm Beach. This lad is owned by Detroiter Curt Johnson
Mesa Doubletiger, Odd Tiger-Mesa Jessie, owned by Bruce De Gilio, finished 2nd in Grade B at Orange Park
Mesa Tempo, Jim Jackson's distance boy at PB grabbed a 4th despite collision in C 660
Mesa Harry, litter brother to Sable Astra, moved up from 7th to 4th as he crossed the finish ine at VL. Chartwriter called it  "late kick". I'd call it lots of strong close down the stretch

Winnie Bones, Seegold Big Red-Uss Mardigras, owned by Helen and Jim Hambleton of Solomon, KS, easily won her Grade B race at Derby Lane by 4 1/2 lengths
Mesa Dress Up, Oshkosh Slammer-Dress Up, ran 2nd in her J event at Palm Beach
Mesa Alberta, Lonesome Cry-Prima Intrepid, owned by Bruce De Gilio, as is Mesa Dress Up, finished a strong 2nd in Maiden today at Palm Beach

It doesn't look like I'll be able to attend the fall nationals next month.
I won't know for sure until the last minute but scheduling is going to be tough

Don't forget that the Flying Stanley pups are for sale. You can also reserve one of the Lonesome Cry-Flying Pella pups. They should be whelped soon

Mesa Gina, by coincidence, won a Grade C at Palm Beach for Bruce De Gilio

Mesa Dress Up pulls away to break maiden at PBKC, other updates

Mesa Dress Up, Oshkosh Slammer-Dress Up, was neck and neck with a competitor until just about the tote board.
From there Bruce De Gilio's pup kicked it into another gear and shot for home. A nice win for the youngster and Rader kennel
Another of Bruce's dogs, Mesa Doubletiger, won a Grade C at Orange Park last night
Mesa Tempo, Tempo Petrocelli-Mesa Cyndi, scored a nice second in a C 660 at Palm Beach. Owned by Jim Jackson
Mesa Harry, another one of Jim Jackson's dogs, grabbed a D win and then came right back for 2nd in C at VL

Mesa Fig Battle, Flying Stanley-Greys Tocomastar, races in her first maiden race tomorrow. Look for her in the 1st race in the matineee card at Wheeling.
I don't like my pups to break maiden too soon. These pups have not been schooled extensively so they are still young and green.
This one is for sale for $10,000 after her 7 1/2 length schooling win last week
