Mesa Delite, SBF-Karmic Destiny, a PB Pup stakes finalist and multiple Grade A winner, returned from Iowa and was entered in a J race. Go figure that one. Only thing I can figure is she had dropped way down in grade out west but still, a juvenile race probably wasn't the correct grade
The result was what you'd expect: Delite, a darn nice 'Hound in any grade, smoked the field by 6 1/2 in 30 flat, Delite races for Norm and Yong Rader
Littermates Mesa Fig Delta and Mesa Fig Gilda finished 3rd and 4th in a maiden race at Derby Lane over the weekend. Delta was ahead at one point but looked lost and settled for third.
The litter has plenty of spped but had little finishing. They just don't have track savvy yet, even the ones at WD. But they will learn and then look out
Another littermate to the girls, Mesa Fig Eagle, won again at SOKC and moved himself into top grade in Orlando. That win gives the youngster a lifetime record of 7-4-2-1. He will soon be moving into the Charter organization. $4500 if you want him now before he starts running at racinos
Mesa Canada, Lonesome Cry-Prima Intrepid, owned by Bruce De Gilio, went wire to wire to dominate a maiden field at NFM. His brother Mesa Barrie schooled 3rd his first official schooling since coming to Florida after the fall nationals
Mesa Explanation sent home a 4th check for new owner Bentley Roberts.
Taylor Swift, Lonesome Cry-Mesa Cyndi, was the place finisher for owner Skip Potter last outing.
And speaking of Mesa Cyndi, her litter by Ardkill Jamie, owned and bred by Jim Jackson, looks topnotch in their first starts at Palm Beach. Best of luck to those pups. First efforts are superior
