Its been a while but we finally have some new puppies!!
Gay Friedli delivered 4M and 3F pups out of Dodgem and Jnb Goodtime Gal for me.
Goodie was a Jacksonville stakes racer and made the semi finals of THREE stakes in 2004.
Dodgem is certainly a well known name in Greyhound circles.
All pups are fawn in color and all are doing fine so far, thanks to Gay's excellent care
I have 3 males and the females available and will keep one or two of the females for myself. Michael Somershas already reserved a male
You can buy these outright or do the payment plan for track ready, your choice.

Mesa Delite made a point of letting Dubuque bettors know she is serious about staying in Grade A as she made her B win look easy.
Joining her in returning to top grade is Mesa Budget at Ebro for owner Joe Watson

Track ready pricing; racing updates

I've been selling young pups for $2800 apiece track ready on a payment plan. That works for lots of people.
Others wants to buy them when they hit the track. That's fine too.
But it's unfair to those who wait and wait all thru raising and training to see what they have to pay the same price as those that get to see their prospects official school.
So effective immediately there will be a premium attached to dogs that have already hit the racetrack.
No longer will they be priced the same.
That might cost me a sale or two but that's okay. I'd rather be fair to all concerned

I'm still surprised that more of the CTW Legendary pups haven't sold. You can buy them on a payment plan or you can buy them outright and raise the pup where you want. It's your call.
But these will be nice pups and I bred them specifically for Wheeling>

Somebody asked me if Brett Favre's  sister could throw a touchdown. Guess he didn't understand genetics.
In this case the dam line has thrown SUPER dogs like litter borther Lonesome Cry. That's what counts.
And Back Taxes was never bred to anything really nice until lately and she still managed to throw good track dogs.
So many of you comment to me after the dogs are successful at the track" I should have bought those"
you will seriously miss out if you don't own one of these

Mesa Tempo won a TD 660 at Palm Beach
Taylor Swift, almost as pretty as the young singer she was named after, scored a big 2nd in Grade C at Derby Lane
Dp's Blue Moon grabbed a 2nd in Grade A at Flagler. I'm dying for her mother to come in season

Breeding-pups update

Congrats to Gabe Lopez on his purchase of the BB Be Cool-Dress Up male pup.
The pup will stay on Jimmy Brymer's farm for raising and then go to William Hays for training

Bruce De Gilio's litter of 4 Lonesome Cry-Prima Intrepid pups are doing very well in training with Rod and Sue Boatright
Rod is holding back two of the pups for the fall meet. The other two will head for Palm Beach the middle of August

The Oshkosh Slammer-Dress Up pups head to Norm Rader at the end of the month.
These youngsters have been extremely competitive with nationals dogs and are in the Top 5 of pups being schooled

It looks like the best litter I've bred in years is the Flying Stanley-Greys Tocomastar bunch
Dick Figurilli raised them and is co-owner
He has had former NGA President Dutch Koerner (think Dutch Bahama) training them
The litter is deep, has both early speed and late
This bunch of pups is for sale but only as a litter. The litter is Wheeling quality

Fred does it again!; RIP Fuzzys Fatnsassy

SWD Ghost Rider, the pride of Rob and Kathy Cross, smoked a Grade C field at JC by 3 lengths. "Fred" to his fans, is a Coldwater Keelin-Fuzzys Tea Party
Mesa Changes, SBF-Karmic Destiny, ran a nice 4th in Grade C for owner John Reedy at NFM
Mesa Cityslicker, still owned by yours truly...how the heck did that happen??? LOL...closed up for 3rd in her Grace C at Flagler
Mesa Harry, Trent Lee-Jr's Sable, made a stretch bid to end up 2nd in his TC 600 at the Gulf. Harry is owned by Jim Jackson of Rockdale, TX
Mesa Explanation, Lonesome Cry-Mesa Cyndi, another one owned by yours truly, stomped on a Grade B field at Ebro!!. Explanation's margin of victory was TEN lengths and in the fastest time of the night> She is for sale and can be moved
Mesa Stardust, Craigie Whistler-Tnt Stardust, won a Grade C at Mobile by 4 lengths. She is a litter sister to Mesa Bethann who is racing at WD

At the top of the page you saw the RIP for Fuzzys Fatnsassy. She was a Fuzzys Geronimo-Oneco Xno daughter.
Fatty was a replacement for Oneco Attitude that Joe Frenette was kind enough to give me.
He didn't have to, Joe is just a good honest guy.
Fatty had conception problems from the beginning. So when I moved her to TX I had blood work, thyroid, teeth work...you name it...done on her. She came from a great farm so all the tests came back negative.
Last night she aborted the pups she was carrying and expired herself in the process.
It was a real disappointment to lose such a sweet, sweet girl

I've had a few of you ask me for specifics on the payment plan for track ready dogs.
The price is $2800, payments are $300 per month, no down payment is required.
I'll take care of all expenses, will get your dog trained and select the track and kennel for you. All you have to do is collect commission checks.

Taylor Swift sent home a 4th place check from Derby Lane in a Grade B for owner Skip Potter
Debonair Diego, Lonesome Cry-Tawmay Rafferty, a Mesa bred dog owned by Helen and Jim Hambleton, grabbed 4th in B at Southland
Winnie Bones, Seegold Big Red-USS Mardigras, a Mesa bred dog, also owned by the Hambletons came back to action at Southland after a layoff. The big girl won a schooler easily and then collected the show finishers purse check
Dp's Blue Moon, Ion No Doubt-Silver Condor, won another Grade A at Flagler. That gives the red female, who is only 54 pounds, purses of $4095 BEFORE this win. Her record is now 27-9-3-3-2
Silver Condor is now owned by Mesa Racing thanks to my friend George Heise. Watch for her to be bred as soon as she comes in season. I'm leaning towards Kiowa Sweet Trey but will consider others as well.

Mesa Changes, litter sister to Mesa Gina and Mesa Delite, demonstrated that she liked the moved to NFM by handily winning her first race there in the Bill Ross kennel. Changes is owned by John Reedy

Racing updates; Happy 4th of July!!

Happy 4th of July to you all and especially to the fellow veterans out there!!
It takes extreme sacrifices to maintain our independence and those of us who served understand that better than most.
When I made Sergeant in Viet Nam my platoon got me a gift because it was also my birthday.
I smoked cigarettes back then and the gift was a beautiful Zippo lighter...you remember those, right?...well, it was inscribed with my name, rank and unit on the front. On the back it said: "you have never lived til you've almost died. For those who fought for it life has a flavor the protected will never know"
It was a wonderful sentiment then and still rings true today.

Mesas Advantage, owned by Frank Bean, now has a record of 30-8-6-7-4 at VL. Stakes and Grade A races are the majority of that record. race at Palm Beach. The

Delite wins at Dubuque; Gil's Maryland 3rd in 770 stake round at Orange Park

Mesa Delite, Puppy stake finalist at Palm Beach, found her racing room in a Grade B contest in Iowa.
The Stans Boy Flyer-Karmic Destiny daughter had the chartwriter note "ignored much trouble"
Those are the sort of comments a breeder likes to see. It basically means that in selecting this particular sire and dam I did my job.
Delite is owned by Frank Bean and races for the Rader organization
Gil's Maryland, Trent Lee-Jr's Sable, a MESA bred dog, grabbed the show finishers purse in a 770 yard stake qualifier at Orange Park.
